Electrical Contractors Licence Queensland Training Course for Qualified Business Person (QBP) and Qualified Technical Person (QTP)

This course provides the requirements for people who are applying for an electrical contractor’s licence from the Electrical Safety Office (ESO) to become a Qualified Business Person (QBP) and Qualified Technical Person (QTP).

Pre-Requisites:

Must be a holder of a Nationally Recognised Unrestricted Electrical license

Students will need to complete pre-reading and assignments for units below before course commencement for:

UEENEEG197A – Apply currency of safe working practices and compliance verification of electrical installations – pre-reading required

UEENEEG175A – Develop compliance policies and plans to conduct an electrical contracting business – Students will also need to complete an assignment before attending college.

BSBSMB401A – Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business – Students will also need to complete an assignment before attending college

UEENEEG122A – Conduct compliance inspection of single phase LV electrical installations and UEENEEG123A – Conduct compliance inspection of LV electrical installations with demand exceeding 100 A per phase – Students will also need to complete an assignment before attending college.
