Electro Group Apprentices (Queensland)
Electro Group Apprentices was founded in 1998 by the Electrical and Communications Association and the Electrical Trade Union, focussing specifically on addressing the skills needs of employers in the electrotechnology sector.
As a Group Training Organisation, we are responsible for employing and training apprentices and placing them with reputable industry employers. We act as the apprentice’s employer and ensure the quality and continuity of their employment and training. Additionally, our trade qualified field staff offer ongoing mentoring, support and pastoral care to our Apprentices.
We are a not-for-profit Group Training Organisation so our core objective is to supply the electrotechnology sector with long-term, highly skilled
apprentices.
To do this, we not only recruit apprentices but we are also active in promoting electrical careers to school-leavers and potential mature-aged apprentices to ensure that our industry attracts the best possible employees.
Our success can best be demonstrated by the fact that 97 percent of our apprentices and trainees successfully complete their training. Our ability to attract apprentices to the industry and ensure that they complete their training and join the ranks of qualified tradespeople is unmatched.
