An Apprenticeship provides a combination of employment and structured training (on and off the job training) enabling employees to achieve relevant industry skills and nationally a recognised qualification. The duration of an Apprenticeship is a nominal term of 4 years.

If you are interested in obtaining an apprenticeship through Electro Group Apprentices, you are invited to send your current resume, outlining your school results and work experience, through the apply now section of this website.
Even if you consider that you do not have the required ability or experience, Electro Group Apprentices would still encourage you to forward your resume. We offer a pre-vocational course in electrotechnology designed to enable people who don’t currently have the required experience, to gain theoretical and practical knowledge. This eight-week, full-time course is free, although you won’t be paid for attending. The course is a combination of theory and practical subjects and includes a 2 week block of work experience. If you satisfactorily complete the course you receive a Statement of Attainment in Electrotechnology Career Start UEE22007. You receive a full Certificate II level qualification once you secure an Apprenticeship with an employer. Not only will you have the practical skills and confidence to undertake an Apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to start an Apprenticeship with Electro Group Apprentices. We encourage you to lodge a resume, outlining your interest in undertaking this course, and Electro Group staff will correspond with you once dates are confirmed.
